Have you tried CHEWING Red Chilli Padi?
During my adolescent years, after attending school, I had to do lots of manual work in piggery and poulty farm and one of the very economical ways to provide for the tremendous amount of energy needed was to eat lots of rice. So, during those days, I was eating at least two or three big plates of rice every lunch, usually with just a few simple dishes, as we could not afford much.
How to eat so many plates of rice without delicious and decent dishes? I found a creative way to do it, i.e. chew the Red Chilli Padi (as seen in the picture) soaked with some soy sauce, when it gets too hot and spicy, the natural instinct was to gulp down lots of rice very quickly. Having been through such survival skill training, I tend to eat and enjoy foods that are very hot and spicy!
