It is ALL IN THE MIND!!!

A young man was invited by a neighbour to a big feast where many sumptuous Chinese dishes were served. One of the dishes was Fried Dog Meat which was considered a delicacy for some. The young man with all other guests enjoyed the dinner very much.

A few days later, when the young man came to the neighbour's house again for a courtesy visit. They had a casual chat and he expressed his appreciation for the dinner that was so delicious. The neighbour told him that one of the dishes was Fried Dog Meat. Before the neighbour could finish his sentence, the young man vomited immediately. The neighbour learnt later that this young man does not take dog meat.

The interesting question here is: What is it in the young man that rejects dog meat? Is it his mouth or stomach? Or is it his mind? Think about it. It is the MIND that rejects the dog meat. The mouth enjoyed the dog meat very much at the dinner table! How we live our lives depends very much on our mind. Change our mind, change the world. Change our mind, change the destiny. If we think we can, we can. If we think we can't, we can't. It is all in the MIND!

Negative Thinking Really KILLS!!!

A few years back, a friend of mine told me something that happened to his mother. His mother went on a group tour to China and during the tour, the group was guided to various places. They visited a medical shop and the Chinese Physician offered free consultation. His mother was told by the Chinese Physician that she had some problems with one of her organs. The physician prescribed a certain Chinese Medicine for her. When the trip was over, she returned to Singapore.

Since her return, she began to feel very worried about what the Physician said to her. Eventually, the children came to know about her concern and sent her for a medical check-up. The medical report did not reveal any abnormalities in her. But, she continued to feel depressed. One afternoon, the children could not find her in the house and started searching for her. After a long search, she was nowhere to be found, the children decided to lodge a police report. That evening, her body was found floating in the sea off one of the beaches in Singapore.

I was sad to learn about her death. Now, this is what negative thinking could do to us. So, negative thinking really kills, doesn't it? Be positive. Stay positive. Think positive.
